Tract Diseases
Biliary
Tracts are ducts that take digestive
juices from the liver, gallbladder
and pancreas into intestines. Gallstones,
infections, inflammation, and strictures
in the ducts can cause multiple symptoms
ranging from abdominal pain, jaundice,
fatigue, weight loss, anxiety, liver
cirrhosis and damage.
Biliary
Tract Diseases can occur in children
or adults, though it is more frequently
seen after age 30. Symptoms can take
a while to appear. Unchecked diseases
can cause serious conditions like
cancer and damage to liver and other
organs, requiring organ transplants.
Gallstones and immune-destructive
diseases of the bile ducts occur in
many of the digestive conditions that
I see. At California Pacific Medical
Center, we are fortunate to have the
best diagnostic and therapeutic talent
to deal with any biliary condition.
I maintain the close collaboration
