Upper GI Endoscopy

Used for diagnosing and treating diseases of the upper GI tract, such as GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, ulcers, indigestion and celiac disease. The only preparation is that your stomach must be empty for 4 hours prior to the procedure. This examination is also performed with light sedation, and most of these are also done at Golden Gate Endoscopy Center.
